Giving Day | November 2, 2021

The first ever Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum Giving Day gives you 24 hours to commit to walking alongside us with a donation that will honor and remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever on April 19, 1995. Today, we stand 168 days from April 19. Help us, so that we will always be a place of comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity.

Operating and maintaining the Memorial and Museum.

$2.3 Million

The annual cost to maintain and operate the Memorial Museum.

$1.5 Million

The annual cost of the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial operations and maintenance. This includes lighting the 168 chairs and the Gates of Time, for without lighting, the Memorial and Museum would stand dark but instead shine the light on hope. The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is also home to 86 trees and the Survivor Tree – the American Elm that bore witness to the bombing – each that require meticulous care 365 days a year.

$970,000

The annual cost of operating the Museum’s educational outreach programs, exhibit conservation, ongoing audience development, and archival preservation. The 50,000 square-foot, interactive Memorial Museum includes 10 permanent exhibits telling the story of the events surrounding the bombing. More than 220,000 artifacts, 300,000 photographs, and 2,000 video recordings are preserved within its walls, creating a powerful and unforgettable experience for visitors.
